Megan the World’s Greatest Office Assistant. At least, that’s how I typically referred to her when I tell my colleagues who she is and how much I appreciate her. Megan has worked as an Office Assistant with HFS for 3 academic years and in that time has helped with countless projects, processes, and building openings. From random administrative tasks, to research, to assisting in an office (and building) move during the 13-14 academic year, Megan is truly wonderful.
She is dedicated to her studies in Psychology, and hoping to pursue a Masters in Counseling post-graduation. Megan is appreciated by all levels of staff in Lander, she is an integral part in our operations. The other student leaders that she works with respect her knowledge of their position and know that she is committed to supporting them be successful in their roles. Megan understands that all interactions with students impact their experience with Residential Life and HFS, she treats all students respectfully and makes sure to follow up with students appropriately.
Megan shows her care for others by volunteering her time to support the UW Club Hockey team, working with youth during the summer at a church summer camp, and spent a couple of quarters mentoring youth with Dream Project. She also spends her time by playing intramural softball and supporting her friends in their extracurricular activities.
