Leigh Friedman is a UW student leader with a true passion to create a lasting impression on the university’s campus that betters the college experience of every husky. Previously the Director of Peer Health Educators, Leigh facilitated health-related educational programming for students. She then brought her skills and experience to a larger-scale by running for the ASUW Board’s Director of Campus Partnerships, her current position. It is in this role that Leigh works countless hours making sure that students are represented and their voices are heard. Having worked with Leigh, I am continuously impressed by her concern and commitment to the experience of every student at the university, and her ability to make herself available to address the concerns of anyone that crosses her path. Her achievements are more than worthy of recognition as a UW Woman.
