O’Jinea Welch

O’Jinae has proven herself to be an extraordinary addition to the UW community. In the short time that I have known her I have seen her grow as a leader and become the voice for her fellow peers. Her compassion for her fellow students has lead her to become an advocate on behalf of the concerns of her peers. I think that it is more than suiting that O’Jinae be recognized for her contributions to the UW community. Not only has she been an crucial member of the Residential Community Student Association executive board but she has also been an active member of the National Association of Black Accountants and also a supportive member of the National Residence Hall Honorary. O’Jinae has done everything she can to give back to her community and also stays engaged in her course work and on the path towards her career. I do not have a doubt that she will go on to become a successful business woman along with having made a noticeable contribution to the University of Washington community in her time left as a student.
